Join the House of Syria and be part of our growing community dedicated to sharing and preserving the beauty of Syrian culture, history, and heritage in San Diego.

As an Associate Member, you are eligible to vote, make motions, and participate in discussions and activities. However, Associate Members may not serve as officers of the House.

Qualification

Membership in the House of Syria is open to:

Any person of Syrian heritage who demonstrates positive moral and ethical integrity.

Any person, regardless of ancestry, who believes in the principles of liberty, equality, and cultural understanding among all races, nations, and ethnic groups.

Any person who is in mutual agreement and understanding with the mission and goals of the House of Syria.

Membership Terms

Members shall abide by the laws of the United States of America.

Each member shall be loyal, active, and supportive of the House of Syria and its mission.

Each member shall adhere to the current Bylaws of the House of Syria, the Bylaws of the House of Pacific Relations, and all applicable local, State, and Federal laws, as well as the rules of the Preferential, Nonexclusive Use and Occupancy Permit of the City of San Diego.

Membership Fees

Membership dues are $25 per year.

New members pay their dues upon being introduced or sworn in to the House of Syria.

Any interim dues or adjustments will be administered in accordance with the House of Syria membership policy.
